Roy Keane absolutely destroyed David Luiz last night after conceding a penalty vs Atletico Madrid
Chelsea showed just why they are the holding Premier League champions on Wednesday night as they defeated Atletico Madrid at Wanda Metropolitano 2-1 in the Group C Champions League clash.
Many are saying that this victory is the greatest of any Premier League club for a number of years.
The Blues’ showed an excellent winning mentality as they came back from a one goal deficit from the first half, to win the match in the second 45 minutes.
Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi scored for the London based club, following Antoine Griezmann’s penalty kick.
David Luiz was penalised for dragging Lucas Hernandez to the floor, while Atletico were having a corner.
And Roy Keane was frustrated with Luiz’s challenge, and he didn’t hesitate to express it during ITV’s Champions League highlights show.
The ex-Manchester United man said: “It’s madness really. It’s a form of cheating,” according to the Mirror.
“Why he’s doing it is beyond me. He’s lazy and he’s letting his team-mates down. He knows himself. There’s no need. We see a lot of that going on, so I’m glad he got punished for it. It’s a form of cheating.”
Well, that’s pretty harsh, right?
