Barcelona news: Luis Suarez makes HUGE Copa del Rey admission despite Sevilla win

BARCELONA ace Luis Suarez believes winning the Copa del Rey doesn’t make up for Champions League disappointment

Suarez scored twice in the first half as Barcelona thrashed Sevilla 5-0 in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday.
Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Philippe Coutinho were also on the scoresheet.
Barca are runaway leaders in La Liga and are expected to complete the domestic double in the coming weeks.
But the Spanish side were knocked out of the Champions League by Roma in the quarter-finals.

And Uruguayan Suarez admits that the Copa del Rey trophy doesn’t compare to winning the Champions League.
"The circumstances were difficult, and we had to turn things around," Suarez said.
"We began the first half very well. We worked in an organised way. This is the fruit of work done by a very focused team.
"This does not hide what happened in Rome, but it is an important trophy.
"At the start of the season we would have all taken [the domestic double]. It has a lot of merit. La Liga is a lot of games, and everyone wants to win the Copa.
"It feels a bit strange having been knocked out of the Champions League, you still have the feeling we could have gone further [in the competition]."
Barcelona are 12 points clear in La Liga with just five games remaining.
The Copa del Rey victory should ease pressure on the side, with reports that manager Ernesto Valverde could have been sacked if Barca lost on Saturday.
