Reports: Barcelona star linked with shock Premier League move

An FC Barcelona star is reportedly being linked with shock Premier League move at the end of this season.
According to The Sun, new Southampton manager Mark Hughes is planning on signing out-of-favour Blaugrana striker Paco Alcacer if he is able to keep the Saints in the English top flight.
It is being reported that Hughes and his club have been a long time admirer of the 24-year-old, who is struggling to any sort of game time at the Camp Nou.
Alcacer was a regular starter for his former side LaLiga side Valencia but when he made his £30 million (R507 million) move to Barcelona in 2016, his career seemed to have made a turn for the worst.

The Saints, who are in the relegation zone, have been struggling for goals this season and they see the Spaniard as somebody who could be valuable for them next season should they somehow survive the drop.
The English side currently has Charlie Austin, Shane Long and Manolo Gabbiadini on their books, but there are plenty reports suggesting that the Italian is planning on moving elsewhere no matter what league the club ends up in.
The former Valencia star said to be keen on testing himself in the Premier League but is apparently only willing to do so if he is guaranteed regular game time.
Alcacer has made 45 appearances for the Camp Nou side, scoring 14 goals and further assisting in seven more.
