Jose Mourinho has revealed what will happen with Romelu Lukaku when Ibrahimovic returns
Manchester United so far have impressive with their opening matches of the season.
They’re playing without the injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who scored 28 goals last season.
He suffered a serious injury against Anderlecht in the Europa League clash in March, and is expected to return at the end of the year.
However, in his absence, Romelu Lukaku has filled the gap quite well actually since completing his 75million move from Everton in the summer.
So far he has scored 10 goals in his first nine matches.
But what will happen when Zlatan comes back from injury? Well, manager Jose Mourinho has answered the question.
“Look, without Zlatan we cannot rotate the striker, especially because Marcus Rashford is playing also in other positions,” Mourinho told reporters.
“So until the moment we have Zlatan, we cannot think about giving rest to our No.9, the same way we give in other positions. We cannot do that.”
