What Spain teammates and manager think about Pique’s situation with the national team

Gerard Pique is under huge pressure right now, while on duty with the Spanish national team.

He has never hesitated to express his political views out in public, as he is a known supporter of a Catalonian independent state.

And that has caused for fans to be concerned for his relationship with other Spanish teammates and manager.

However, Marca are reporting that the Spain national team wants the Barcelona defender to decide for his own future, after he said that he’s ready to walk away if people aren’t happy with him.

After Barca’s 3-0 win against Las Palmas, the former Manchester United defender said that if his support for the independence referendum is a problem, than he’s ready to step aside from the national team.

But, according to the report, Spanish players, manager and staff want from him to make his own decision.
